Mindi Irvine

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT
Executive Director

Dr. Mindi Irvine has over 20 years of experience in private practice orthopedic physical therapy and in a variety of other settings including acute hospital, skilled nursing facility and home health. She currently is the Executive Director of Oasis Physical Therapy. Mindi is passionate about disease prevention which led to her creation of the Oasis Anti-Aging Well3 program. She loves helping people—not only helping people return to activities they love to do but also helping people live at an optimum level of health so they are able to reduce their medications and prevent the onset of disease. Mindi loves what she does and wants to see more people gain the priceless benefit of good health. In her free time, she is active volunteering in her church. She enjoys music, skiing, and traveling with her husband and 4 children.

Monica Mohl

Director of Operations

Monica (Olivares) Mohl is native to the Tri-Cities and graduated from Kennewick High School.  As a young wife and mother she completed her bachelor’s degree in the evenings while at the same time working full time. She has worked her entire career in the field of physical therapy and has a huge heart to see our patients have an over the top, awesome experience with their physical therapy. She makes it her mission to constantly improve our systems and processes so it is easy for our patients to enroll and return to us again and again to regain the ability to return to the activities they love.  She loves to network and help people by making a referral she knows will help them.  In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, play softball, camping along the river with her boat and downhill skiing in the winter.

Rachel Whitney

Director of Public Relations

Rachel (Strametz) Whitney happily joined Oasis PT in 2013. She has over 15 years of experience in personal relations, marketing and networking. She loves assisting and advising individuals based on their current wants and needs. Her goal is to exceed expectations by providing the best possible care and experience every day. She could not ask for a better fit for her skill set. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to grow, develop and use her creativity to expand outreach to patients, providers and everyone that Oasis Physical Therapy has the potential to help. Rachel's greatest joy and motivator is reading patient success stories and how quickly physical therapy can change someone’s life. When a patient shares that they can now participate in activities that they love and have missed for so long, it’s our greatest possible outcome. Personally, Rachel is passionate about family time, fitness, health and being the very best she can be. She is a certified Les Mills instructor in SPRINT and CXWORX and is pursuing her MBA.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, learning new things, and outdoor adventures. She is happily married, adores her amazing kiddos, and has a “crazy” springer spaniel.

Adam Roggia

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT, MS, OCS
Director of Clinical Development

Dr. Adam Roggia joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2014. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He treats in all of our locations each week and oversees clinic development. Prior to 2014, he practiced in Lexington, Virginia, where he also served as adjunct faculty at Southern Virginia University. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2012. He holds a MS in Sports Conditioning and Performance from Southern Utah University, and BS in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University. Adam practices in orthopedics and sports medicine, with an expertise in sports performance and endurance racing. He also incorporates manual therapy techniques, as well as vestibular and balance training into his patient care. He and his wife Hayley are married with four children, and one dog, named Bubba.

Joe Goates

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT, OCS
Kennewick Clinic Manager

Dr. Joe Goates was born and raised in the mountains of Utah where he enjoyed participating in a variety of athletic teams.  He pursued his collegiate education from the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor degree in 2007 followed by his Doctorate in 2010. After graduation he moved with his wife and children to the Tri-Cities.  They have 4 children.  Joe has received board certification in orthopaedics, advanced certification in vestibular and balance disorders, and is trained in Graston Soft Tissue Technique.  He has continued his education to include further training in many modalities including:  manual therapy, myofascial release, strain-counterstrain, KinesioTaping, and treatment of headaches and migraines, to name a few. His treatment approach is focused on restoring proper movement patterns and function and not in simply treating one’s symptoms. He enjoys community outreach and participates in local fairs, expos and public speaking to increase awareness of the benefits of exercise, physical therapy, and a healthy lifestyle.  When he is not at work he provides community service, coaches his children’s sport’s teams, and plays on teams of his own. His recreational basketball team has won the league championships 3 years running.

Dr. Kuran joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2017.  She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She has also achieved Level IV/COMT certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy indicating advanced clinical competency.  She completed her Athletic Training Certification through Mount Royal College and Bachelor of Science degree/PT from the University of Alberta In Canada.  Ivanka went back to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica in 2012.  She has 25 years experience in private practice orthopedics with an emphasis in manual therapy for advanced spine conditions as well as treating endurance athletes involved in swimming, biking and running.  Her special interest is manual therapy for the neck and back.  Ivanka ran cross country and track in college and has completed over 60 marathons, along with 24 full Ironman events.  It’s not just about the finish line, it’s about the experiences and people along the way that keeps her motivated.  In her spare time, Ivanka enjoys travel and volunteering in the community supporting kids’ sports and organizing biking and Ironman races.

She completed her BS degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University in 2009.  While there she enjoyed playing on the Women's basketball team for 2 seasons. She likes to incorporate manual therapy into her treatments, is passionate about working with athletes of all ages and in returning people back to their daily and recreational activities at full function. Outside the clinic she loves staying active in and outside of a gym. She enjoys playing basketball and softball in the community recreation leagues as well as playing golf and tennis.

Ray Johnston

Physical Therapist, PT, MPT

Ray joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2014. Most recently he completed an APTA Credentialed Orthopedic Residency in 2013. He graduated with his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the Richard Stockton College of NJ. He began his career in NJ and in 2005 he became a traveling physical therapist which brought him out to the west coast. Since that time he has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings such as acute care, orthopedic outpatient, subacute, and home health. He realized through traveling that the orthopedic outpatient environment was his favorite. Since 2002, he has taken numerous continuing education classes in manual therapy. In the next few years, he hopes to obtain his certification in the McKenzie Method and become a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing tennis, and biking. He has been fortunate enough to travel to Europe, and New Zealand. He has also driven across the USA 5 times. His goal is to try to explore all 7 continents. He is looking forward to helping out the patients of the Tri Cities area to the best of his ability.

Andrew Carrell

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Dr. Carrell joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2016. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2012. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science in 2008. Before coming to Oasis Physical Therapy he worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, home health, and pediatrics. He has worked with patients as young as 1 week old  up to 104 years young. Drew also has training in treating pregnancy related pain, postpartum pain, incontinence and other pelvic issues. He enjoys dancing and competed on a World Championship level dance team. He also enjoys ultimate frisbee, yard work (much to his wife's delight) and is a Zumba enthusiast. His favorite pastime is to have impromptu dance parties with his wife and sons.

Keefe Lynch

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Dr. Keefe Lynch grew up in the heart of Central Oregon. He enjoyed the beautiful nature while he was actively involved with outdoor enthusiasts and athletes of all kinds. Going through his own intense physical therapy journey he discovered his love for the craft. He earned his B.S. from the University of Oregon and later went on to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. His primary focus during PT school was on orthopedics and manual therapy. His next goal is to pursue Manual Therapy Certification. He believes that education is powerful and is committed to encouraging individuals to invest in their health for life long wellness in the midst of pain, injury and age. His aim is to enable others to participate and obtain their highest level of performance within the activities that enrich their human experience, utilizing his manual therapy skill set and lively personality. He is also actively involved in church.

J. A. ‘Andy’ Hay

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA

Andy joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2013. He is a licensed physical therapist assistant. In 2009, he received his A.A.S. from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Spokane Falls Community College. Prior to joining the Oasis team, he worked for several years in industrial, orthopedic and aquatic physical therapy. He immensely enjoys working with the wonderful variety of clients in our clinic.  Andy (James) was born in Montana, but spent the greater balance of his life in Spokane, before relocation to the Tri-Cities. Previous to his career in physical therapy, he had variously owned a coffeehouse-bistro and worked for several years as an automotive refinisher. He feels that moving into physical therapy has been the best occupational decision in his life. On his own time, Andy loves spending time with his wife, Annette, and their kitty-kat (and his buddy), Ringo. He also enjoys cooking, discussing, tasting, inventing, pondering, etc. food and beverage for friends and family. Additionally, he has for several years sang and played bass with the ‘coolest group of other old geezers just trying to stay young’ at the odd weekend gig.

Diana Milton

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, CKPT

Diana joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2012. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant and Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner. She is a Tri-Cities native and graduated with her PTA degree in 2012 from Pima Medical Institute and undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 2007. Diana has worked in acute physical therapy primarily with patients immediately after joint replacement surgery and open heart surgery. She has also worked in inpatient rehabilitation where she primarily worked with neuromuscular education and functional movement training in patients with stroke and traumatic brain injury. Since working at Oasis, she has had further training in Graston technique, aquatics, functional movement, and in Kinesiotaping. She specializes in aquatic therapy and enjoys pediatrics as well as using manual therapy techniques to reduce pain. She loves spending time with her husband and son and is involved in community theatre and the local arts community as well as enjoys kayaking, swimming and biking.

Elyde Carillo

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA

Elyde joined Oasis Physical Therapy in 2016. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant. She graduated with her PTA degree from Green River College in Auburn, WA in 2016. She also attended Columbia Basin College where she received her Associates in Arts and Science. She was raised in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School. After school she moved back to Eastern Washington to pursue her goal to work in a setting that not only helps individuals return to their optimal lifestyle but to be in an environment where she could use her bilingual skills with Spanish speaking patients. She enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, anything that involves the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Denise Traylor

Licensed Massage Practitioner, BA, LMP

Denise Traylor is a licensed massage practitioner. She graduated from Brian Utting School of massage in Seattle. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from CWU with studies in Sociology, Psychology and Anthology. Denise has been a lifelong student holding 18 years of advanced experimental learning in transpersonal psychology, adult development, comparative religions, community building and leadership, and research in dissociative states. Along with her interest in deep level healing, she has clinical skills in Swedish massage, deep tissue structural bodywork acupressure, cranial sacral therapy, posturology, lymphatic drainage and second degree Reiki. Her skill set melts away into a sense of advocacy for each client as they journey from limitation to freedom. Denise Traylor enjoys all forms the work takes. She has been helpful to people from other cultures. She has been a labor coach and photographer in 27 childbirths. She has worked with thousands of injuries and post-surgical rehabilitations. Denise Traylor is dedicated to her patients and her love for them shows through her treatment.

Ken Pond

Licensed Massage Practitioner, LMP

Ken Pond is a Licensed Massage Practitioner. He specializes in Craniosacral Therapy. It is a gentle, noninvasive form of therapy that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. Ken is passionate about listening to his patient’s needs and alleviating stress and pain through compression release.  His goal is to provide the maximum relief possible through restoring the natural position of the bones.  He is known for achieving excellent success in relieving migraine headaches, neck and back pain, TMJ disorder, and more. Craniosacral therapy can also decrease stress and tension from chronic injuries. Many patients report that their sleep is improved and pain is reduced for weeks after Ken’s treatments. 

Victoria Berry

Licensed Massage Practitioner, LMP

Victoria Berry is a Licensed Massage Practitioner. She is exceptional at a variety of massage techniques. She has had several years of experience working with patients who have suffered work injuries, motor-vehicle injuries and overuse injuries. Victoria is effective at a variety of treatments for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension. Through massage therapy, many of Victoria’s patients have improved their wellness and health. 

Scott Dixon

Licensed Massage Practitioner, LMP

Scott Dixon is a Licensed Massage Practitioner. He specializes in deep tissue massage to release chronic muscle tension. Scott’s focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia.  Scott’s goal is to relieve long-term stress and tension from injuries and muscle damage.  Scott is exceptional at finding the source of pain and working through it to alleviate the limitation. He is great at working with sports and overuse injuries. Scott prides himself in working with a variety of clients to achieve their long term goals by customizing each massage to get greater results. He likes to educate every client on how to have a better quality of life.

Taylor Farnsworth

Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Dr. Taylor Farnsworth graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2016. He spent 15 weeks of his graduate clinical training at Oasis Physical Therapy and officially joined the staff in January 2017. Taylor has an extensive background in track and field, cross country, road racing and trail running, and understands the physical demands that endurance sports place on the musculoskeletal system. He has experience treating all levels of athletes, from beginner to professional. Taylor completed his B.S. degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in 2014 while competing on their NCAA division I track & field and cross country teams. Taylor enjoys treating patients of all ages and abilities with varying diagnoses and goals. Outside of the office, you can find Taylor spending time with his family, playing his drum set and enjoying the great outdoors.

Kirsten Holmboe

Physical Therapist, PT, MPT

Kirsten graduated in 2002 with her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has enjoyed working part time with Oasis as she raises her two children and is an active mom in their classrooms and after school activities.  

Kirsten is friendly, fun and helps her patients in a very caring way. They love Kirsten’s caring and gentle treatment.  In her spare time she enjoys chess matches, the outdoors and playing with her kids.

Jodi Hanson

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA

Jodi Hanson is a former Montana native that has spent the last six years working in the field of Physical Therapy.  Prior to joining Oasis Physical Therapy Jodi has worked in sub-acute care and skilled nursing facilities in Tacoma, Washington and Kansas City, MO.  She is excited for the opportunity to work with the Oasis Physical Therapy family and their patients.  Jodi likes to utilize both functional and manual aspects of treatment to help patients along with her training in the Graston technique and Kinesiotaping.  Jodi is passionate about helping her patients achieve an active and healthy lifestyle.  In Jodi's off time she likes spending time with her husband, and helping with her two kids' activities.  While achieving all of this she leads an active outdoor lifestyle with her fun loving labrador.

Wendy Fogelson

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA

Wendy has spent the last eight years pursuing her interest in physical health and awareness. While at Washington State University, Wendy became interested in, and decided to pursue, a career in the field of physical therapy. She is a 2006 graduate of Green River Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program. Currently Wendy is finishing her bachelors of science in Physical Activity and Health from Eastern Oregon University. Wendy has spent the last four years developing her skills towards the area of orthopedics.  Wendy likes to incorporate both functional and manual aspects of treatment to help patients meet their goals. She truly enjoys helping her patients return to the activities that they love. In her off time Wendy loves spending time with her husband and their 3 children, scrapbooking, reading, running and involvement in church activities.

Sheila Stoner

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, ATC

Sheila Stoner brings 25 years of experience with her as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant.  Sheila is originally from Eugene Oregon, but after graduating from Pacific Lutheran University in Exercise Science, she stayed in the Seattle area. While in Seattle she picked up her Pilates Instructor Certification and a passion for rowing, kayaking and all things aquatic. Sheila believes strongly in laughter as great medicine as she help patients ease their pain. Sheila puts the "fun" in functional training. Sheila would love to meet you at our Kennewick location and help you "Stop Hurting and Start Living."

Kirsten Shockman

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, CPT

Kirsten graduated from Mt. Hood Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Kirsten grew up around Physical Therapy and thanks her grandfather, a Physical Therapist, who made her realize this was the field for her back when she was in high school. Kirsten attended Mt. Hood Community College, where she played on the schools’ basketball  team. She has a huge passion for sports rehab and loves helping active people get back to doing what they love. Outside the clinic, Kirsten is a competitive powerlifter who for the last 5 year has competed in high level lifting competitions all over the northwest and continues to do so. She has broken multiple state and American records. She also enjoys any activity that gets her outside such as hiking, track workouts, riding dirt bikes and riding her horse.
